The smell of our hot cross buns baking in the wood fire oven is a treat for all the senses. We add sultanas and currants to a our traditional hot cross bun recipe, mixed with citrus peel, sugar, and spices. Our buns are baked slowly, creating a scrumptious sweet taste bursting with flavour.
They’re a perfect Easter treat that can be enjoyed fresh or toasted, and even better with lashings of butter and jam.

Delivery: To ensure our bread arrives fresh, we currently only deliver across the North Island using an overnight courier service.
We’re a small, family-run bakery in the Kaeo, Northland that specialises in woodfired and handcrafted bread with locally sourced supplied.
Woodfired baking is considered the holy grail of bread baking, taking the craft to its origins datingback over 4,000 years ago. Its neat to know that back in the day many villages had woodfired ovens that were often shared between families, bringing the community together on village bake days.
Our small batch methods ensure that each loaf is a little different – and always delicious!
